Things to Know Before You Go - Splatter Rooms
This is a paint activity and it WILL get messy!
Wear clothing you do not mind getting paint on and it potentially staining. This includes shoes. You can purchase one of our shirts to design or even one of our baseball caps. We do have ponchos and whole body suits for purchase, if desired, but these are not 100% guarantee of not getting paint on clothing or shoes. Hair protection is for free. Do not wear high-heels. You may go barefoot or in socks if you choose.
NO RUNNING
No pushing or physical contact with others.
We are not responsible for staining or damage to anything. We highly recommend removing jewelry and not wearing clothing or shoes that you do not want paint on. We are not responsible for paint that may get on or in your vehicle. Come prepared with plastic for your vehicle or purchase our ponchos for after.
We do have lockers available for use for free, but they are first come first serve.
Bringing your own art supplies is prohibited. You will be provided with a brush and are able to have a canvas of your choice. We use specific paint that is UV black-light reactive, hypoallergenic, and non-toxic.
Do not lean on our building, surrounding buildings, or vehicles in the parking lot.
We will be playing party music, which may get loud, especially at night.
A clean-up room with a sink is provided for you to wash your hands and face after painting. You will not be clean after a paint session. Best is to allow paint to dry and it will easily wash off your skin with soap and water in the shower at your home.
ALL MINORS must be accompanied by a responsible adult who must keep children in control and in visible contact at all times. Children are welcome to have fun and throw paint, but running, unwelcome physical contact, removal of another's eye or clothing protection, climbing on furniture, or destruction of property will not be tolerated. Any minors left without adult supervisor will be turned over to North Augusta Police Department as we are not a day care center!
Minimum age to participate is 12 months old. Goggles will be provided to all participants, but younger kids and toddler may not fit well or keep them on. Younger kids may also get overwhelmed in larger groups, but often enjoy getting messy and painting the canvas.
Be mindful of paint usage. Each participant will receive sufficient paint to create art and have fun, but if you run out, additional paint is available for purchase.
A waiver is required to be signed prior to participating in the activity. Once a waiver is signed, it is good for 2 years at our facility and covers all activities at The Splatter Place.
