As a premier paint splatter place, we now offer several new attractions including, but not limited to, Nerf Wars, Archery Tag, Bubble Soccer, Kid-Friendly Axe Throwing, Fowling, Footpool, Dodgeball, and SO MUCH MORE! About Us
It started with Splatter Painting Fun!
pened our original location as a unique paint splatter place, featuring glow-in-the-dark splatter rooms, with the aim of offering something fresh and exciting for families in the community. The concept quickly gained popularity, but community feedback was clear: we want more. Our community NEEDS more! And they were absolutely right!
Families, especially those with kids aged 8 to teens, and young adults are seeking affordable and distinctive options.
Taking on this challenge, The Splatter Place has conducted market research, surveyed community needs, budgeted, and planned extensively. We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our splatter place in North Augusta, now featuring a variety of new attractions! We hope everyone enjoys what our splatter paint place and new family fun attractions have to offer now and in the future!

We have closed our store-front business effective 7/26/26. The below FAQ's are prior to us closing.
Secure your front-row seat in the splatter spotlight! For regular sessions, it is not required to reserve a room or attraction ahead of time, but it is strongly encouraged. We will only accommodate walk-ins when space is available. But we already have a 2-page long waiting list to call for July reservations as soon as the little construction that is needed is done and we have clearance from the city to open, so reserving online ahead of time is strongly encouraged. Reservations are required for parties and for private events.
Splatter Rooms: Get ready to steal the show, but here's the scoop: we've got ponchos available for purchase to keep you somewhat safe, and we even 'yeeted' (as the kids say) shoe covers out of the equation. Truth bomb – they don't work. We're not into charging for things that won't save your style. So, here's the real deal: wear clothes you're ready to get down and dirty in. Our pros suggest going barefoot or sock-footed on our comfy, thick-matted floor. Pros also admit, short of a wet suit, you're diving into a splash zone. It's all part of the wild ride, so keep it in mind when you book!
Arena for Nerf / Archery Tag / Bubble Soccer / Dodgeball, Foot pool, or Multiball Playwall: Athletic wear or workout wear is best. Please - no booty shorts or anything that may cause an accidental wardrobe malfunction. Comfort and safety are key. The arena has a rubber floor, so athletic sneaker-type shoes are preferred. No flip-flops, hard soles, boots, and Bubble Soccer in high heels? Really? Don't even think about.
Fowling, Street Curling, or Kid-Friendly Axe Throwing - there are no clothing or footwear restrictions in these areas. Be mindful, though, you may not score as well if your clothing doesn't allow you some movement.
Human Crane - You will be required to take off your shoes while in the crane harness.
If you book a Splatter room, each participant will receive a canvas to paint. We also have t-shirts in various child and adult sizes available for purchase to paint as well as baseball caps. You can also wear items, such as shoes, shorts, pants, hats, and more you wish to paint. Everything you paint will be UV black-light reactive after painting. At our new location a washroom with a multi-faucet trough sink and foot washing station will be available!
A maximum of 25 can be in the large splatter room at the same time. The smaller splatter room can accommodate a maximum of 5. Only paid participants and staff are allowed in the splatter paint rooms. A responsible adult must be in visible contact with any children at all times.
We do have streaming video of what is going in the splatter rooms to make it easier for adults to watch their children without having to be directly in the line of fire of the paint. This video is broadcast on a large TV right outside of the splatter rooms where seating is available.
All bookings for the arena or splatter, except for parties, are 1 hour time slots! Everything else can be booked for 30 minutes or 1 hour, such as Fowling, Multiball Playwall, etc.
Attractions that are per person are charged by the number of participants. These are Nerf Wars, Archery Tag, Bubble Soccer, Splatter Rooms, and Human Crane. Attractions that are per hour are attractions that are rented per hour. There are no additional per person charges for them, but there may be maximum number of people allowed, such as no more than 6 people on a Fowling Lane. We only count individuals 4 years of age and older when counting people.
Yes. The waiver signed during the booking process both when booking online or if you book as a walk-in. You must be at least 18 years of age to sign a waiver. Our new booking system that went live on 2/3/26 has a new waiver management system. It will also allow waivers to be good for 2 years and cover all attractions at our location. You can also add your minor children in your household onto your family waiver. You can create an account ahead of time and sign waivers before you come HERE.
Archery Tag is an exciting, fast-paced sport that combines elements of archery, nerf, and dodgeball. Players use specially designed, foam-tipped arrows to tag opponents while avoiding being hit themselves. Score extra points by catching the arrow! It's a safe, fun, and active game suitable for all ages and skill levels. The game is played with strict safety rules, including protective gear and trained referees, ensuring an enjoyable experience for everyone!
Foot pool is a fun and casual game that combines elements of soccer and billiards. It is played on a large rectangular court similar to a pool table but instead of cues and balls, players use their feet to kick soccer-sized balls into designated pockets. The game blends the strategic, skillful aspects of billiards with the active, dynamic nature of soccer, making it a great activity for families and small groups of all ages!
Fowling is a fun and unique game that combines elements of football and bowling. Played on specially designed lanes and platforms with bowling pins arranged in a triangle, the goal is to knock down your opponent's pins by throwing a football. It's a high-energy social game that's easy to learn and perfect for all ages, making it great for date nights, small groups, or just hanging out with friends.
Nope! While we embrace the fun of traditional dodgeball, our games are played with a modern twist. We used trained referees to ensure fair play and adherence to the rules, and our matches follow the official USA Dodgeball rules. Plus, we utilize the latest no-sting dodgeballs, making the game safer and more enjoyable for everyone. So, it's a fresh, updated take on a classic favorite!
All people participating in the group activity 4 years and older count towards the group size. The only activity that allows under 4 years of age is the splatter rooms. We will allow under 4 years in the splatter room, but they will not get their own canvas, and we cannot guarantee their goggles will fit. We will recommend under 4 years parents wanting to bring their child into a splatter room to bring toddler swimming goggles for their child.
If you need to bring more people than the booking allows online, you can contact us and we may be able to accommodate with sufficient notice. We never charge for non-participating observers.
You may bring themed plates, napkins, and tablecloth, as well as a cake or cupcakes. We do not allow other food or drink to be brought in. We do have a snack bar that serves nachos, ice cream, popcorn, and a large assortment of candies, snacks, and drinks for you to add to your party. Online booking gives you the option of adding pizza packages, nachos, drinks, and ice cream. If you would like to add other items, give us a call and we can customize your party to your liking! Please do not disrespect our small business by trying to sneak in outside food. You wouldn't do it to a national chain, so don't do it to us. If you do, you will have an additional $25 charge.
We strongly suggest to not bring unnecessary items with you. We do have lockers available free for use, but they are first come first serve and we have a limited number available.
Prepare to be amazed at how easily our UV paint washes off!
Our new location has a washroom with a multi-faucet trough sink, foot washing station for you to clean up in. You will NOT be able to get 100% clean before you leave.
After your 1st wash at home, the blacklight will still show some paint residue on your skin that you will not be able to see in regular light. This will fade after a couple of washes. If you are concerned, we recommend the use of the ponchos we have available for purchase.
After your splatter session, follow the paw prints on the floor to the washroom with the orange door. The minions will welcome you when you enter. It has been configured specifically for the purpose of cleaning up after splatter sessions.
All of the paint will wash off your body easily in the shower at your home.

We use a specific paint to ensure that it is non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and reacts to the UV blacklights.

Pre-booked reservations do not share rooms unless you request it. If you were a walk-in and another walk-in comes in, we may suggest for you to share the area, especially if only one room is available at that moment.
10 minutes early or a couple of minutes late is fine. If you have to wait in line to get checked in, don't worry; we won't start your time until you get checked in. If you arrive early to our 1st booking of the day, the doors may not be open until your booking time.
Fashionably late? Your adventure awaits, and arriving on time ensures you get the full experience! Remember, if you're fashionably late by more than 10 minutes, we'll likely have to reschedule you for the next available slot (which could be days or potentially weeks).
(Note: We DO NOT provide refunds, as once you order, the experience is prepped and ready for your unique moment!)
Each room will be stocked with sufficient paint for the number of people in the party for a paint battle. You will be supplied with 48 oz of paint per participant divided among 6 different colors with a set of cups of paint to use with the paint shooters, sets of squirt bottles of paint based on the number of people in your party, 2 paint bombs per person, and each person has a water gun filled with paint. This is typically more than enough paint, but if you plan on having an all out splatter war of epic proportions, you may want to purchase more. Additional paint and paint bombs can be purchased as well.
The only bookings that have designated seating are the parties and fowling lanes. The silver parties have reserved tables and the gold and platinum parties have private party rooms. We have a number of tables throughout the venue that guests are welcome to use when not reserved for parties.
The only outside food allowed are cake and cupcakes. We have a snack bar that serves nachos, popcorn, drinks, and a large variety of candies, snacks, and ice cream that satisfy any sweet tooth!
If you do happen to bring in outside food, be prepared to be charged a $25 fee.

We are <5 minutes from downtown Augusta, 15 minutes from Augusta National Golf Club, and 28 minutes from downtown Aiken.
Please call us at 803-292-4071 during our business hours to reschedule. There are no refunds, only credits towards future sessions. Being more than 10 minutes late for a reserved booking may forfeit your booking without credit.
